Katie Facchinello is a fresh, new political up-and-comer who's currently running for Colorado State Senate. She's challenging long-term right-winger Ken Harvey, an unapologetic Bush/Cheney supporter who is also a self-confessed Tom Tancredo fan. (For those who haven't heard of Tom, he's one of the nuttier ultra-right hysterics on the scene.)

The award-winning documentary, Gasland, has brought attention to the practice of hydraulic fracturing, or "fracking." Fracking is a method of last resort for extracting natural gas from rock layers deep inside the earth using vast amounts of water laced with toxic chemicals.
FrackAction.com is a prime example of how the combination of effective messaging, smart web strategy and "boots on the ground" using social networking can make the difference in passing needed legislation. Through the tireless efforts of Julia Walsh and her team, we at ICR Media are looking forward to celebrating a real victory when it comes to preserving our precious natural resources in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds.
When Red Horse Strategies and 32BJ SEIU needed a rapid-deployment web strategy to urge passage of the "Good Jobs" bill in the NY City Council, they turned to ICR Media to formulate a solution. The 32BJ division of SEIU has over 70,000 members in NY State alone, and the "Good Jobs" bill would ensure that taxpayer dollars go to real jobs, not jobs that simply perpetuate a cycle of poverty for hard-working New Yorkers.
NotOnOurDime.org is a hard-hitting and motivational website incorporating a user email engine that allows constituents to find their Councilmember and email them directly from the site - a different and more impactful solution than a simple run-of-the-mill online petition.
Media coverage (see Daily News article here) and online high-quality video testimonials complete the picture in creating a compelling online campaign that can "move the needle" when it comes to real, progressive legislation that improves lives.
InterCreative is proud to announce the launch of Gary Ackerman for Congress, U.S. Representative from New York's 5th Congressional District.
Gary has had a long and distinguished career in the House of Representatives and was a driving force behind many recent initiatives, including the Credit Card Reform Bill, recovery of illegally-seized funds by Swiss banks for Holocaust victims and, of course, the recent historic Health Care reform.
AckermanForCongress.com is a full implementation of ICR Media's Campaign 2.0 system, with extensive Social Networking capability including Facebook Integration, Twitter feeds, Text Messaging and more.
Rep. Ackerman's site also incorporates CiviEngage, the new online campaign management system from CiviCRM that features an array of voter engagement and organization tools for Phone Banking, Canvassing and GOTV.
When the Nassau County Democratic Committee was looking to upgrade their web presence, they turned to InterCreative to produce a vibrant, cutting-edge site to maximize the participation of an energized voter base.
The new NCDC site boasts tremendous "under the hood" functionality, including a full CRM system (Constituent Relationship Management), giving the Committee the ability to do real web-managed grassroots organizing.
FFMPEG on-site video encoding allows for high-quality on-site video streaming, without having to send the user to third-party sites like YouTube; similarly, Flickr photosets are fully integrated for "one-stop" photo gallery consolidation. And Facebook integration allows users to interact with their Facebook friends through the website. Cool.
By definition, sustainable technology defines our future - InterCreative was thrilled to work with Revenue Spark in developing their new site - which features a web portal for up-to-the-minute news delivery in the burgeoning field of Green Technology.
In addition to showcasing their considerable experience in the field, the site also implements a sophisticated feed system that aggregates news of breaking developments worldwide; updates are sent out via Twitter multiple times a day, enabling site users to stay on top of the latest news.
Revenue Spark is definitely a company to keep your eye on - and we at InterCreative are thrilled to be aboard for the ride.
Ron Arroyo is well-known in the field of triathlon training in the Southwest - his athletes have consistently garnered awards at all levels of Biathlon, Triathlon and Championship Cycling.
The challenge was to create a site that was eye-catching and easy to maintain, yet still offer plenty of user features for event enrollment, personal athletic statistics, breaking news and all things involved in the world of personal training.
Ron has developed strong relationships with a wide variety of vendors; the site also offers ample opportunity for ad partnering, using targeted ad injection and tracking. But, most important of all, InterCreative was instrumental in communicating the excitement and energy Ron epitomizes in his approach to all manner of sport.
Our own Jon Stone takes a humorous star turn as a heartless insurance company executive who's not shy about speaking his mind. It's a "must see."
Shot by our own Stacey Garratt, we did this at the behest of one of the many grassroots organizations who are fighting in support of real health care reform. Concept, copy and production was done entirely in house in about two days. Edge? Well, see for yourself!

Flush from their victories in the NY State Senate that gave control to the Democrats for the first time in generations, Doug Forand, Mark Lapidus and Nathan Smith recently formed their own political consulting company, Red Horse Strategies.
To emphasize the fact they have been successful by challenging the orthodoxy of the political consulting world, Red Horse insisted that the site be "out of the ordinary" - and that neither "horses" nor the color red should be in evidence on the site.
